The Danish Center for Health Informatics works on research, development, consultancy, and education in information technology for the healthcare sector. The center seeks to promote understanding of the interaction between information technology, healthcare organizational aspects, and healthcare issues.
The Danish Center for Health Informatics is a formal network collaboration between universities, public and private companies and organizations, hospitals, and regions. The center is based in the research environments at Aalborg University, which involve several departments in the field of health informatics, including the Department of Medicine and Health Technology, Department of Planning, Department of Communication and Psychology, and Department of Economics and Management.
The partners collaborate through a reference group, and the daily operations are managed by an executive committee and a center director. The associated researchers come from three faculties at Aalborg University. The secretariat is located at the Department of Planning at Aalborg University.

Seminar October 5: AI in healthcare - - development, implementation and application
AI in healthcare represents a pivotal frontier where cutting-edge technology is supposed to improve healthcare delivery and create more effective workflows and systems. Through ongoing innovation, it promises to transform the landscape of medicine and healthcare management. As the impact of AI on healthcare is growing, the Danish Centre for Health- Informatics (DaCHI), has decided to host a seminar, where international research and ongoing projects are presented.

Through Aalborg University and its partners: VIVE, MedCom, CHI-Supplier Forum, Central Denmark Region, Aarhus University, Aalborg University Hospital, and North Denmark Region, the Danish Center for Health Informatics offers an interdisciplinary and versatile approach to solving health informatics tasks.
The Danish Center for Health Informatics shares its knowledge for both national and international projects.
